Bringing the patient voice to the global sarcoma community
SPAGN is proud to once again bring patient advocacy to the CTOS Annual Meeting, creating a space for patient organizations and advocates to connect, share their work, and contribute to conversations shaping the future of sarcoma research and care.
The Connective Tissue Oncology Society (CTOS) Annual Meeting 2026 will take place 18–21 November 2026 at the COEX Convention Center in Seoul, South Korea.
As the global network connecting sarcoma patient advocacy organizations, SPAGN is committed to ensuring that the patient perspective, lived experience, and work of patient organizations have a meaningful place within the international sarcoma community.
Through our presence at CTOS, we bring patient advocates together with researchers, healthcare professionals, and other members of the sarcoma community to exchange knowledge, build connections, and strengthen collaboration.
The Patient Advocacy Lounge
The Patient Advocacy Lounge will once again provide a dedicated space for patient representatives and organizations to meet, connect, and engage with the wider CTOS community.
The Lounge is a place to exchange experiences, discover what other organizations are doing, share resources, and build connections across countries and communities.
During CTOS 2026, SPAGN will showcase the work and perspectives of patient advocates from around the world through a range of dedicated activities like the Patient Advocacy Lounge, the Poster Wall, information tables, and various collaborative sessions.

Showcasing patient advocacy in action
The Patient Advocacy Poster Wall is a dedicated space for patient organizations to showcase their work and share their experiences with the global sarcoma community.
Every year, patient organizations are doing important work: from developing support services and awareness campaigns to contributing to research, improving access to care, building communities, and advocating for change.
The Patient Advocacy Poster Wall will be showcased as part of SPAGN's presence at CTOS 2026 in Seoul and will also be featured through a Virtual Patient Advocacy Poster Wall on the SPAGN website, helping to make these projects accessible to the wider sarcoma community beyond the meeting.

Patient organizations attending CTOS 2026 will also have the opportunity to share brochures, publications, and other informational materials through designated information tables in the Patient Advocacy Lounge.
This opportunity is open to patient organizations attending CTOS, regardless of SPAGN membership.
